Hey guys!

As some of you might know, I am mapping a new Bayside which includes Bayside Island. I would love for you guys to come with suggestions for me to map, ranging from custom businesses etcetera, to a trash can. I suggest you go and look at the current map of Bayside on the server, and then come back to this thread and give me feedback and/or suggestions on what I should map in the additional patches.

What we're looking for right now:

- Gang areas, locations where gangs can hang out.
- More houses for poor / medium balanced inhabitants.
- Custom buildings with interiors (businesses, shelters, houses)
- A custom bar business
- Parking lots on Bayside Island.
- More locations that would fit for players' daily visit.

Please note that I am not your private mapper, I will not map custom houses or custom businesses for anyone. If you wish something added personally, you'll need to speak with Andrew. I will only map objects that will be used by the public.

Thanks for reading!

Don't mean to sound like a douche, but as far as vampires go - they go urban.
Most even define themselves are 'city-creatures' because they fit easily in the communities and
find prey easily.
So I'd like to suggest that once Bayside is finished - it can serve as a "starting land" for all players - and once reaching a certain level will move on to the other "land" - probably San Fierro.
But yeah we could use some interiors xP

The good thing about roleplay is that you can choose your path of living yourself. Wink Doesn't have to be a set path for one to follow. If things came straight out of the books, it wouldn't be so fun anymore to roleplay. Honestly I think it's extremely unique to base a server in Bayside, and that's the reason why I made Bayside Island. If moving to San Fierro would happen, I would've wasted 24 hours of my life.

Anyhow, interiors? As in custom interiors? I'll see what I can do. I will map a church interior, definately. Thanks for the feedback / suggestion!

A church interior would be AWESOME. Try making it look... "gothic" somehow >.<
It would be cool, since we got the supernatural factor included :p

I need suggestions on PUBLIC LOCATIONS IN BAYSIDE to MAP. AKA: CUSTOM GYM, CUSTOM SPA, CUSTOM BOWLING HALL ETC.

Update 28.08.2011

Added:

A new living area has been mapped, consisting of a road to the hill, including a 12 room hill hotel, and 3 houses. One of the houses has shitloads of tables and chairs (private run restaurant / can be rented out for events etc?), another has a basketball court and some tables, and the last one has a volley ball net / tennis net, with a table.
Custom, enterable warehouse by the Fishining pier, including a main storage room, a secondary storage room, staircase to the 2nd floor, office and sitting area.
Light Beacons all over Bayside Island to light up the area a little bit.
More Benches.
More homeless shelters.
Hot dog and Ice cream stops all over Bayside.
Bushes all over Bayside Island, along with more plants and flowers.
Statue overlooking Bayside from i26 (the highway), with flowers.
Ghost town outside Bayside tunnel, along the i26.
The bar outside Bayside tunnel has been edited with flower beds, and tables.

Fixed:

M's cabin.
Several buildings being in the air, has now been lowered to hit the ground perfectly.
Some objects being wrongly placed / rotated, fucking up the map.

Bushes... Flowers.. Cans... Houses... Benches.. Beacons... Warehouse... Tables... Chairs...

It's gonna lag like hell.. Might not now, but when you get a normal playerbase it's not gonna be playable for some players.

We'll see about that. Right now it isn't lagging at all, I believe the streamer that we got is extremely usefull. It streams 400 objects per/s, which means that it will allways update the objects. 400 objects is regular for GTA, and shouldn't make any problems.

IF it turns into a problem later on, we'll merely delete the uneeded objects.
